yoomootpro is a collaboration tool focused on organized problem-solving and knowledge-sharing. Organisations pay a monthly fee for a secure website which they can use for discussion and project management. It's different from other such services because of its focus on organization: it merges wikis, forums, blogs and social bookmarks into a single format. Additionally, it facilitates conversations which are always quick to get an overview of, no matter how complex the subject or how many participants there are.

yoomootpro is the enterprise version of yoomoot.com. yoomoot.com provides the same service as yoomootpro, except that everyone on the Internet can freely contribute to it, in the manner of Wikipedia. As well as providing a service in itself, yoomoot.com will act as a way of advertising yoomootpro.

Both yoomootpro and yoomoot.com have fully functioning private beta sites. We will be launching both soon.

During my MA in Interactive Media I noticed that messy comment threads and forums were things everyone found frustrating about the Web. I'd also been frustrated by existing project management software and yoomootpro was born when my business partner and I realized the same solution could solve both frustrations.
