Briefly, Wikwikit is a free micro-encyclopedia, its articles are 140 characters long and can be created and edited by anyone. You can comfortably read them on your cell phone, or put many of them together and create a glossary on any subject.  It’s like a mix between Twitter and Wikipedia. Try it at http://www.wikwikit.com.

Wikwikit is about “getting straight to the point”. People use Wikwikit when they just want to know the essentials or remember something they knew, fast. In those cases, people usually don’t want to spend time scrolling down through a dense article of Wikipedia.

We are currently in Closed Beta. We have over 350 users testing and providing feedback, and more than 20,000 articles. We have been awarded the Exist Scholarship for Innovative Business Start-up Projects of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany (BMWi).

The founder team has long experience in diverse fields, from consulting to web developement. We're looking for a Co-founder with IT-background and intern for web developement projects. We would also like to show potential investors what we're building at Wikwikit.

Our pitch:

We are the best micro-encyclopedia. Our articles are max. 140 char. long and can be read from everywhere. Everybody can create/improve them. Our goal: helping people to get "straight to the point"!
