spendino provides an integrated mobile and internet fundraising solution, especially for around 230 leading Non-Profit-Organizations, but also for about 500.000 small charities in Germany which are not fundraising yet, due to initial setup an high processing costs.
spendino enables donations via Short Message Service (SMS) and assists Charities to enhance their donation income and media-savvy. With its mobile Micropayment Service spendino enhances the donation volume in Germany by addressing young people as target group, too. Special digital values, like Widgets and Apps for Social Networks (OpenSocial, F8), attract young donators. The Charity SMS Service can be promoted perfectly at events (soccer, concerts), points-of-interests (Brandenburger Tor) and media campaigns (Online, TV and Out-of-home).
In addition to the mobile bill, spendino makes out donation receipts (for tax refund) and supports the charities in customer communication via web and mobile channels to provide a best in class customer experience and to extend customer lifetimes.
About 29m private individuals donate up to 4 Billion Euro in Germany every year. To offer a responsible Charity Micropayment Service up to 95% of each donation should be distributed to the charity. This high payout is possibly based on special agreements between spendino and the German mobile network operators. spendino itself is a for-profit Service company.
