SmartRunner is the leading sportstracking and -sharing community in Germany. The application is available to most smartphones in the market, ad-funded in its basic version and free to download. Only for additionaly features a premium subscription is required.
The company has been founded by two PhD students from the University of Leipzig - Roman Belter and Rolf Kluge - and Alexander Trommen aveteran in mobile entertainment in october 2009 and is growing quickly. It is supported by two the leading business Angels in Germany Roland fassauer (Intershop and Pixaco) and Daniel Wild (XING, StudiVZ, AdScale, Joinr, etc.)
