Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is the UK's leading charity offering information, support and advice to over two million people with sight loss. Our pioneering work helps anyone with a sight problem - not just with braille and Talking Books, but with imaginative and practical solutions to everyday challenges. The include working with manufacturers to make handsets, applications and platforms accessible to users who have a sight problem.
We make a real difference every day. Led by the needs of blind and partially sighted people, we're building on our pioneering charitable heritage. With a clear direction and a stronger organisation, we're now poised to make an even bigger difference.
It's outrageous that people are cut off from information and new technology. We'll focus our energies on ending isolation, supporting people to lead independent lives, and by making society a more inclusive place for blind and partially sighted people.
We believe that we can end the isolation people face. We will lead the way in building an inclusive society, where blind and partially sighted people are respected, valued and independent.
