POIdo is a location-based advertising (LBA) platform providing location and context-based ads on mobile phones, portable navigation systems and internet sites using customer location information.
POIdo offers:

Ads are shown based on information about the user’s location and context. The user sees the message when approaching a virtual billboard or as a result of searching for a nearby address.
Advertisers compete for ad lots, since a user sees only the most efficient ads on a given field.
The POIdo ad system was launched in March 2010; service is offered to local businesses and entrepreneurs in and around Moscow. POIdo is planning to launch in the US later in 2010.
