Movellas ApS is a Danish-based mobile technology company founded in 2008. Movellas.com is one of the first European-based community sites built for teens and young adults allowing them to read, publish, and share novels, poetry and live blogs via mobile phones. This community site is fully integrated with its users' online profile (facebook, twitter, etc.).
The phenomenon originated in Japan and is the first literary genre to emerge from the cellular age. In Japan, many of the young female first-time authors have now become famous bestselling authors selling real books in the millions and reaching the top 10 bestseller list on the Japanese book market.
