Mobile Monday Switzerland was founded in 2008 and has a community of over 350 members. Mobile Monday’s main activities are the community’s face-to-face gatherings on every first Monday of the month in alternating cities in Switzerland : Bern, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich.
Mobile Monday Switzerland has the following objectives :
- Organize meetings, the first Monday of the month, in alternating cities,
- Present visions, trends, studies and forecasts from the mobile marketplace,
- Increase the international visibility of Swiss mobile industry companies,
- Introduce international companies to potential partners in Switzerland,
- Encourage mobile start-ups and investments in areas of excellence for Switzerland,
- Facilitate Swiss participation in international initiatives through the import and export of visions, concepts, technologies, know-how and best practices,
- Contribute to programmes which educate the public on mobile technology and its value to the Swiss economy,
- Grow the number of participants and volunteers, facilitate the establishment of city chapters of Mobile Monday if, when and where the demand exists.
