U-PAY IS AN ALL-IN-ONE MOBILE PAYMENT SERVICE
U-Pay is a Universal Mobile Payment (to-Machine) Service, an all-in-one payment solution for all Merchants and Customers supporting Online, NFC, Barcode and SMS-Payment methods.
GravityZoo was established in 2006 to build a Platform as a Service Solution (PaaS). Since then, almost 100,000 man hours have been invested in R&D. As of mid 2009 it was decided to first focus the GravityZoo PaaS solution on interconnecting the World of Machines with the World of Mobile Payments. The outcome is U-Pay.
U-Pay can be used to do physical and Internet-payments, but more importantly U-Pay can also be used to do Payments-to-Machines. Making it possible to use the Mobile phone to:
- Enter, Pay and Exit a Parking Garage;
- Select, Pay and Collect a Mars-bar from a Vending Machine;
- Swipe, Pay and Carry groceries from a Supermarket.
