FHOSTER has developed a software technology to create and deploy business-grade database applications on the web, faster and easier than any competitor.
Such a technology meets the real needs of more than ten million broadband-enabled small businesses (just in North America and Europe) still collecting and storing structured data with inappropriate tools (e.g. spreadsheets) due to the cost/complexity of developing software.
Our customers can either serve themselves on our web portal, or they can call us and get their application deployed in real-time by just describing it to an operator. After evaluation, new customers can either subscribe to keep their applications hosted on our servers (SaaS), or they can purchase the applications (source or binaries) and install them wherever they like.
FHOSTER is the only web-database player with a pure model-driven approach translating UML diagrams into standard java/MySQL applications based on open-source technologies.
FHOSTER is managed by a perfect mix of young technologists and seasoned entrepreneurs and has already raised 240K€ from business angels. The company is now seeking funds to complete the release of its technology and run beta operations. We plan to start commercial operations in 2011.
