PlayingMondo represents a new and innovative way of gaming. Mobile GPS gaming takes gaming outdoor and adds physical activity. Gaming should not be limited to indoor inactivity no more!
The games are played on the mobile phone and via GPS maps, you move around to the POI’s solving assignments, collecting points or fighting of the bad guys, depending on the game.
Our games are designed with physical activity and entertainment as our main objective and learning perspectives as a positive bonus. The games are mostly played at our events and collaborators such as The National Museum of Denmark, however it is our wish to broaden the usage to everyday gaming in order to strengthen the health and learning of especially children.
The main audience is children ranging from 7 to 14 years of age but several games are constructed to suit a much older audience.
The games are differentiated into entertaining and educational games, and vary in audience.
Further on, the platform is used for tour guides, mainly for the adult audience, where culture, history and nature are mediated in a new and relevant manner.
Within marketing we see great possibilities in a new and direct location based marketing but until now we have chosen not to follow this path. If other companies with greater experience in marketing consider this a possibility, please feel free to take contact.
More than 25.000 people have played the games and used the tour guides, and we have experienced high interest and lots of positive experiences.
